Bread Bin - Wooden Project

In Grade 11, Tech Design, I decided to make a Bread Bin for my final project. I made sketches and technical drawings to plan my project. I faced many challenges while building during the lamination and joinery since all my pieces had to be square and had to fit perfectly. I used wood lamination and joinery for this project. Although, I was able to finish my project on time and this was the final result.

How was it made?

1. I started of with a huge, rough plank of pine wood. Then I cut and processed them to end with 5 good pieces of wood.(2 sides, 1 back, 2 top + bottom) 
2. I created a design that read "BREAD" on V-Carve and had the CNC Router cut the design on a piece of plywood. 
3. After I had my pieces, I laminated!
4. I used Walnut (hardwood), to add a border around my door and to border the edges of my back wall as an accent.
